Rocket Speaks In New GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY Video!

Marvel has just released this Guardians of the Galaxy behind the scenes video, which is focused on Rocket Raccoon. Not only does it feature new footage, in it, we hear Bradley Cooper as Rocket Raccoon speak for the first time! It sounds like they went with a American city accent for the character. Check it out!

  2. Yes, American accent, but it is just the right tone and the right amount of badass. Mr. Cooper, you have earned the applause of the Raccoonatic Commander.

    2. I wouldn't say it's a matter of "knowing the character", it's completely opinion really.
      That said, in my opinion, I think the voice is pretty good, but I want to hear more before I truly decide if I like it or not.

    3. I still prefer the Cockney accent. British is a homage to his namesake, and the humor of the voice comes from the fact it's unexpected. If you knew a bit about Rocket, how he sounds in the movie is how you might expect him to sound. The funny part about the more gruff-sounding Cockney Rocket is that it's literally the last thing you would ever expect to hear out of a raccoon, which makes it, to me at least, more humorous and more appealing.

  10. no matter which way we all look at it, not everyone will enjoy how he sounds. some will love it and some will hate it. it's totally impossible to please everyone. i for one loved it. he needed to sound badass and he did.
